WINTER WONDERLAND: TATSENA

The Winter Wonderland honeymoon suite is located in the nearby foothills and is more or less a complete ski lodge condo. The cozy room features its own scenic views and a fireplace for keeping warm. There's also an enormous, private bath with bubble jets and a tub waterfall - extremely swanky accommodations! On the television in their room, they can watch select external broadcasts, and unedited footage from the house will occasionally be available should they wish to snoop on their fellow contestants.

The other couples who have successfully found their matches are staying at the resort, too, with everyone in their own private room. While the resort offers plenty of activities, excursions, and dining opportunities for enrichment and entertainment (if you think it's there, it probably is!), it's perfectly fine to spend the rest of the honeymoon just getting to know one another better instead. Or now that you each have someone to spot you, could it be time to hit the gym for a couple's workout?

Let's be real most of his "belongings" are clothes he had to grab while he was here. Gotta love being fresh from a disaster. That said, once he's made sure all luggage made the trip, he'll start checking out the room itself.

Honestly the private bath would have been enough but the waterfall, once he figures out how to switch it on, seems to both amuse and baffle him in equal parts. So this is what luxury resorts have, huh...]

Have you ever stayed someplace like this before, Sena-san?

[Sena has no luggage (all her outfits are downloaded in her Iris... she'll show Tatsuma that neat trick later) so she's already poking around their room. those rooms with the bunk beds at the cabin were already quite cushy, in her opinion, so all of this is totally blowing her mind.

except one single bed seems like a bit of a downgrade. except it looks plenty big enough for two people, so no problem!!]

Nope, never! I can't believe we get this whole room to ourselves! [she's currently poking at the fireplace— with the metal poker, not her bare hand. for now] What about you?

Mm, not really. We stayed in the same town until I had to move to Tokyo. And when I did, I got an apartment.

[Off and on and- okay he should stop messing with this. Over to see what Sena's looking at!]

[the fire crackles away, well-fed with fresh wood and a draft from the nearby window Sena had opened a crack. from a distance, it would look like she's just poking the burning logs, but once Tatsuma gets closer, he'll see that she's... roasting a marshmallow! for some reason. it already looks pretty burnt.]

I'm so used to always being around loads of other people, this room almost feels too big for just the two of us. [she tilts her head] I kinda like it though— the privacy, I mean. What do you think?

Yeah. I'm not used to being around so many... Even at home, it was just me and my parents.

[Which is still a bit bittersweet to think about, so he pushes the thought away for now.

...And notice that poor marshmallow.]

Um... your marshmallow...

Oh, yeah, I found a whole bag of 'em! [along with other snacks, the typical kinds a fancy hotel would leave in a room. except these ones don't cost, like 15 bucks for a single chocolate bar.

thankfully, she pulls the marshmallow out before it melts right off the poker. it's on fire... she absentmindedly blows on it. and offers it to Tatsuma.]

We can always go back to the main lodge if we feel like it, I guess. But not going to lie— I've been really curious about what else this place has.

[Thank goodness because he still doesn't have easily accessible money. And oh hey - he'll take the marshmallow, blowing on it to make sure it's cool before he pops it in his mouth, burns and all.]
