PREMISE
HOLIDATE is a short-term shipping game loosely based on the MTV reality dating show Are You the One? and drawing inspiration from made-for-TV Christmas romance movies. The characters are willing participants in a getaway reality show, the end goal of which is meeting a potential romantic match and obtaining a prize.
Over the course of the game, characters are expected to mingle with their fellow participants, open up, and try and find out who the show's matchmakers have selected as their "perfect match" based on their responses to pre-show intake questions. To facilitate the building of these relationships, all contact with the outside world is cut off for the duration of the show. Weekly challenges, dates, and parties will provide multiple opportunities to find the truth.
With the cold weather outside and holiday magic in the air, anything can happen. Will these characters be able to find their perfect holidate?
